Katana Perps Connect enables secure mobile trading by linking your mobile device to your desktop wallet through a simple QR code flow. This allows you to trade from your phone with full functionality — no need to export private keys or install browser extensions on your mobile device.

How It Works

Scan the QR code

Open the Katana Perps exchange on your desktop where your wallet is connected. Navigate to the Katana Perps Connect page and scan the displayed QR code with your mobile device.

Authorize the connection

Your desktop wallet authorizes a delegated session key for your mobile device. This key is scoped to trading actions only and cannot be used for deposits or withdrawals.

Trade on mobile

Once connected, you can place orders, manage positions, and monitor your account from your mobile device with the same one-click experience available on desktop.

Security

Katana Perps Connect uses the same session key architecture described in the Session Keys section. The delegated key granted to your mobile device is:

• Scoped to trading — It can place and cancel orders, but cannot move funds in or out of your account.

• Time-limited — The connection expires after a set period and requires re-authorization.

• Revocable — You can disconnect your mobile device at any time from either the desktop or mobile interface.

Your hardware wallet or browser extension wallet stays on your desktop. You never need to expose your primary private key to your mobile device.
