Positions on Katana Perps are collateralized by USDC on the Katana blockchain. Users deposit USDC directly into the Katana Perps smart contract to begin trading. As a non-custodial exchange, Katana Perps does not take custody of funds before making them available to trade — funds are held by the smart contract, tracked on-chain, and settled transparently.
