IDEX Token
As part of the transition to Katana Perps, the IDEX token will be converted into a fixed-price fee token.
How It Works
Redemption rate: $0.02 per IDEX token
Fee credits: Redeemed tokens are converted into a trading fee credit balance on your Katana account. On any trade, up to 50% of your fees can be paid using this balance.
How to redeem: Redeem your IDEX tokens from within the Katana Perps app. After redemption the corresponding fee credits are applied to your account.
One-way conversion: Redeemed tokens are permanently removed from circulation. Fee credits cannot be transferred to another account or converted back to IDEX tokens.
Redemption window: Users have until January 31st, 2029 to redeem their tokens and use their fee credits. Any unredeemed tokens or unused fee credits after that date will expire.
Disclaimer
This program is available for three years from the date of launch. Fee credits earned through this program are intended for individual, non-professional traders. Designated market makers and institutional trading accounts are not eligible to apply fee credits. The Katana Foundation reserves the right to suspend or revoke fee credit access for any account determined to be ineligible.
